This is really interesting - weird time for bakeries. Something similar happened with the last remaining ovenly, the original one in Greenpoint, last year and it’s a real thumb in the eye of the community. Like, no preparation, no goodbye, no place to go for hot chocolate with your kid

oh i really liked ovenly so that was such a bummer to see it go but i hadn’t realized that they just vaporized like that

yes it is no longer connected to Clementine or Elle Barton but it is going to be another ice cream shop and not just plant based!

Not at all surprised about Clementine. The quality plummeted after the sale. And staff were so clearly unhappy. Really disappointing. Come back Elle!
